Druridge Bay is a stunning and highly recommended beach located on the north east coast of Northumberland. Clean and wide expanse of sand. The designated bathing water is one kilometre long in the northern half of the nine kilometres long bay. The dune backed, gently sloping sandy beach can result in a long distance to the sea at low tide. At low tide, visitors can enjoy warm tidal pools, although the sea itself tends to be cold. Druridge Bay is also a dog-friendly beach and is relatively quiet even on hot summer days. Free parking is available, but there are no facilities on site, so visitors are advised to bring everything they may need. The beach can be easily accessed from the visitor centre, which offers toilets and a cafe.
