Bamburgh Castle Beach is a long remote, sandy beach situated on the north Northumberland coast. The beach is 2.5 kilometres long and slopes gently, resulting in a long distance to the sea at low tide. The Mill Burn crosses the beach to the north of the Environment Agency's designated sampling point. Bamburgh Castle Beach is in Northumberland 2 kilometers north of Bamburgh.
Bamburgh Castle is a highly recommended place to visit with excellent parking facilities. The castle itself is visually appealing from the outside and a guided tour is possible of the inside. The beach, a short walk away, offers stunning views of the coastline, though the sand can make walking a bit more challenging. The castle is mostly accessible for wheelchair users, with a video show highlighting areas that are not wheelchair-friendly. The Aviation and Industrial museum is informative and worth a visit. There is a lovely tea room, clean bathrooms, and easy access to baby changing facilities.
