The bathing water is a resort beach on the north Kent coast close to Margate town centre. It is a gently shelving sandy beach with a promenade along the length. There are extensive underwater rock formations just offshore to the east and west which are exposed at low water. Westbrook Bay is a beautiful beach located on the north Kent coast. It is easily accessible by train from London and offers a quieter atmosphere compared to nearby Margate. The beach is long and sandy. One notable feature is its flat terrain, which makes it suitable for wheelchair users and those with disabilities. The area offers plenty of roadside parking and nearby toilet facilities. There is a lifeguard team present during the summer months, ensuring a safe swimming environment. Westbrook Bay is also a dog-friendly beach.
