West Beach is a shingle beach located on Whistable seafront. The gently sloping shingle beach is intersected by wooden groynes and affords plenty of shallow water as the tide drops. The beach is popular with water sports enthusiasts. West Beach is known for its collection of oyster shells and various colored stones and pebbles, making it a popular location for shell collectors. The beachfront is lined with beach huts and there is a well-reviewed café called West Beach Cafe that offers great tea and scones, as well as alcoholic drinks.
