Ramsgate Sands is a sandy resort beach with a promenade between the Royal Harbour and marina at the south and the white chalk cliffs to the north. Along the seafront promenade there are a range of resort facilities. The beach is clean and tidy, and there are lifeguards nearby for those who want to swim. There are also plenty of areas to sit in the sun and relax. Public toilets are available in various locations, and there are also restaurants and shops nearby. Boats are harbored close by, adding to the scenic beauty of the beach.
