Stone Bay in Broadstairs is a 600 metre sandy bay above a wave-cut rock platform, backed by a promenade and white chalk cliffs. It offers lots of space and a lovely sandy beach with rock pools. The beach is known for its interesting forms of chalk and flint, making it a great place to look for unique rocks and shells. There is a cafe along the beach that offers simple food options, and toilet facilities are available at the top of the stairs. The beach is not wheelchair accessible due to the number of steps. When the tide is out, visitors can enjoy rock pooling, and occasionally even find starfish.
