Leigh Bell Wharf beach is a small sandy beach in the old town of Leigh-on-Sea, just to the west of Southend-on-Sea. It is next to a busy boat yard at the mouth of Leigh Creek. The beach is easily accessible and offers impressive tide activity. From the shore, one can see the water extending two miles into the horizon, with the water deepening to 5.5 meters at low tide. The village has a quaint, old seaman village feel and is surrounded by bars and restaurants. However, parking can be a challenge as there are limited spaces available, and a parking charge of £1 per hour applies. The beach itself has a small sea pool for children to enjoy. The narrow streets leading to the beach and pub may not be suitable for larger vehicles. It can get busy during weekends and holidays, particularly when the weather is sunny. Toilets are conveniently located nearby. Park near Leigh Station and take a 10-15 minute walk to the beach to avoid parking difficulties.
