Bournemouth Hengitsbury West forms part of the 15 kilometre coastline of Poole Bay on the Dorset coast. Hengistbury Head Beach is a beautiful and secluded beach located about 30 minutes from Bournemouth. It offers stunning views of the Isle of Wight and is not generally crowded. The beach has soft golden sand and is well-maintained. It is a great place for swimming, but caution should be taken due to steep inclines and potential rips. The area also features beautiful walking trails and abundant greenery. There is a wildlife reserve, cafe, ice cream, and toilet facilities available.
